If you could imagine your ideal life, what would it look like? Where would you be, what would you be doing? What kind of job or career would you have… or perhaps you wouldn’t?
Whatever your ideal life looks like to you, there is often a big gap between where you are now and where you want to be. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not possible to make strides in getting there.
In creating your ideal life, there are three main areas to develop:
1. Finding Your Passion – What is something that you love doing even if you don’t get paid to do it? What personal values guide you in your life and affect your decisions and how you live your life? Finding Your Passion is about getting clear on what it is you really love and how you can make sure that you’re making the time to focus on it, whether for work or simply for fun.
2. Getting FOCUSED to Achieve Goals – Identifying our goals is the easy part. The challenge is finding the motivation, self-discipline and even time, to work toward and achieve these goals. Getting FOCUSED to Achieve Goals provides the tools, resources and steps to start making real, consistent progress.
3. Impacting Others – A huge part of living your ideal life is having the ability to give to others. Whether it’s paying forward some blessing, or giving back to society or your community in some way, or even something major like leaving a legacy, there is great satisfaction and fulfillment in being able to help others. Impacting Others brings things full circle with taking whatever we have to offer, however great or small that is, and using it to make a difference in the lives of others.
If there’s one thing I’ve realized, it’s that life is a lot more fun when we are actively participating in it. So let’s reawaken that passion inside, take actual steps toward making it a reality, and help others along the way. Let’s work together and help each other to create our ideal lives.
